Yes! Nightwish!

heres 1 from adam gregory- why dont u ever shave? seriously i would like to know. :)

Ask what genre of music they hate the most.

Thats a good one, will definately ask.

Holy shit, where to start man.

My questions might be too technical, but if you run out of stuff to ask the master of symphonic metal Tuomas... ask him his process...

Melody? Chord progression? Guitar riffs? Starts it all on piano and moves foward? Does he write all the guitar lines as well, or let Emppu take the breakdowns and solos?

Does he fit lyrics to melody and music? Or write songs specifically around a sung lyrical phrase?

Holy shit, I could go on for hours... What software does he use to notate and write things... does he arrange for the orchestra too? If not, how much of the music is written by an arranger?

Ask him if he meant for Meadows of Heaven to be such an epic goespel track as an ending, or if thats somthing that Annette sort of sparked and contributed to in the studio.

Ask him how much demand there is for the albums that are just the instrumentals and if he thinks that its the music that brings the fans moreso than the lyrical content.

Ask him how much freedom Annette has to come up with her own harmonies and runs, or does Tuomas write all that before they even begin to record.

Holy shit dude, Are you actually meeting them in person? Fuckin A. I'm going to leave you with those for now, but man. I could go on limitly with technical questions. Much appreciated if you get to any of those.

I'm afreid your question came a bit to late. I did talk to Tuomas and he had some very interesting stuff to say. The podcast is podsted on my Music space page and the minutes on the blog. However, before the interview I did get a chance to talk to him backstage at their recent concert, and asked some similar questions. I'll PM you about it.

whoa man you have a radio! that is damn awesome!

you seem to be my rival =P u interviewed nightwish though =( i wish i could ask them who is their inspiration. they rule. this is a year ago though lol! i could never compare.

hey have u heard of the band helltrain? they are like... progressive melodic death metal. its weird, but their songs sound relaly different and really the same. if u want check em out some time - http://www.myspace.com/punkassrotnrol l (only know their myspace)

i see u play anything hradcore =p =D
peace out bro =)

I find Nightwish a little drab and tasteless and find the singer sounds like a whining whore most of the time. A much better metal band with a female vocalist is *Deadlock* a very generic name, but alas the music is grand in comparison.

Dragon force are overrated so much nowadays, but they are legends so respect towards that.

In Flames is probably the best band you mention, although their latter material has been a tad disappointing.

Blind Guardian are iron maiden rip offs that also happen to be utter shit.

For claiming to be symphonic you really don't have that many symphonic bands, perhaps you should do a bit of searching and update your music tastes, as they are atrocious.

Yiiieeessss...All Finn bands rock!!! I..I,
